2026 Wrestling State Finals
Both BAGUBAs who qualified for state brought home medals. Dylan finished fourth at 150 and Brason Schortgen was fifth at 165. Adams Central was the highest team placement in the Fort Wayne area with 23 points for 18th place. 2026 Wrestling Semi-State
Two BAGUBAs will represent Adams Central at this years State Finals and both are advancing as Semi-State Champions. Dylan Ogg (150) repeated his championship from last year. He was joined at the top of the podium by Brason Schortgen (165). The Jets came out strong, winning seven of their eight matches, but difficult draws saw five of the seven eliminated. The Jets placed fifth in the team standings behind Delta, North Miami, Bellmont and Garrett. The team scores, placement round results, and results of the BAGUBAs matches are found here.
2026 Wrestling Regional
AC advanced eight of twelve BAGUBAs to next week's Semi-State. Dylan Ogg (150) and Brason Schortgen (165) won championships. The Kale Beer (132), Myles Kaehr (138), Maverick
Dubach (157), Xander Schwartz (175) and Ethan
Funk
(215) finished second and Max Nussbaum claimed third. The Jets finished second in the team race with 139.5 points. Bellmont finish first at 183. The team scores, placement round results, and results of AC matches can be found on this page.
2026 Wrestling Sectional
Twelve BAGUBAs advanced to the 2026 Regional with six champions. Claiming titles for the Jets were Kale Beer (132), Dylan Ogg (150), Maverick Dubach (157), Brason Schortgen (165), Xander Schwartz (175) and Ethan Funk
(215). The other wrestlers to advance were Cruz Bowers (106, Ezra Liechty (113) Owen Macklin (120), Myles Kaehr (138), Max Nussbaum (190) and Ryan Beer (285). AC scored 250 points to finish second to Bellmont's 273.5. The team scores, placement round results, and results of all matches involving AC wrestlers are available here.
ACAC Tournament
AC won their third straight conference tournament title at Bluffton with 270.5 points. South Adams was a distant second at 224..Eight BAGUBAs advanced to the championship match and five won titles. Kale Beer (132), Dylan Ogg (150), Maverick Dubach (157), Brason Schortgen (165) and Xander Schwartz (175) won championships. Cruz Bowers (106) , Myles Kaehr (138) and Ethan Funk (215) placed second. AC Invitational
The BAGUBAs put nine wrestlers in the championship round and won four individual titles to win their invitational over nine other teams. Cruz Bowers (106), Dylan Ogg (150), Brason Schortgen (165) and Ethan Funk (215) took home the titles. Several other Jets filled in empty spots in weight classes and got varsity experience as well. Adams Central 38 Delta 34
The Jets and Delta Eagles split the individual matches winning seven each, but AC scored more bonus points to win 38-34. Xander Schwartz, Max Nussbaum, Ethan Funk, Myles Kaehr and Maverick Dubach had pins for the BAGUBAs. Delta won four of the six JV

IHSWCA Team State
AC finished as the runner-up in the 1A division of the wrestling coaches association team state tournament. The
BAGUBAs opened with a close 40-30 victory over fifth-seeded Alexandria. They followed that by upsetting top-seeded Southmont by a score of 39-35. Maverick Dubach, Dylan Ogg, Brason Schortgen and The championship dual came down to last match, but defending champion scored a fall to pull out a 44-34 victory. Maverick Dubach, Dylan Ogg, Brason Schortgen and Xander Schwartz went undefeated for the day. Maverick and Brason pinned all of their opponents. The dual results for these matches are available here.
Adams Central 42 Homestead 35
The BAGUBAs stormed back from a 35-16 deficit and won the final five matches to defeat the Homestead Spartans. Ryan Beer, Ezra Liechty, Maverick Dubach, Dylan Ogg and Xander Schwartz all had pins for the Jets. There were six JV

Willey Holiday Duals
The BAGUBAs dominated the field to win the Willey Holiday Duals for the third consecutive year. The closest match was a 47-27 victory over Maconaquah. Other wins were over Kokomo (57-15, North Newton (73-6), Frontier (66-10), Rossville (53-24), Faith Christian (79-0), Tri-West (66-15) and Mishawaka Marion (79-0). An unusual situation happened for the second tournament in a role. One team that the Jets were supposed to wrestle withdrew before the tournament started, so the tournament manager formed a team with reserves from other schools and replaced the missing team with that one. AC defeated that team 71-9. Maverick Dubach, Xander Schwartz and Ryan Beer all finished the tournament 9-0. Max Nussbaum finished 8-0. The dual results for all nine matches are available here.
Bellmont 42 Adams Central 31
AC came up short in their annual battle with county rival Bellmont, losing by a 42-31 score. Kale Beer, Maverick Dubach, Dylan Ogg and Brason Schortgen remained unbeaten at 14-0. Brason, Xander Schwartz , Ethan Funk and Dylan had falls for the Jets. AC and Bellmont split the JV matches, but the Jets had more pins. New Haven Super 10
AC won the New Haven Super 10 for the first time ever with pool victories over Lakeland (69-9), Prairie Heights (66-11), Northfield (53-29) and South Bend Washington (1-0). The championship matched them against New Haven for the second time in a week and they repeated their victory by a slightly larger margin, 46-32. The 1-0 win was a first in program history. South Bend Washington went to the wrong site and then returned home and forfeited all of their matches. Kale Beer, Maverick Dubach, Dylan Ogg, Brason Schortgen, Max Nussbaum and Ethan Funk were all undefeated for the.BAGUBAs. The dual results are available here.
Adams Central 49 Columbia City 23
The BAGUBAs ran their season record to 9-0 with a win over Columbia City 49-23. Senior Ezra Liechty celebrated his first match of the year with a pin. Kale Beer, Maverick Dubach, Brason Schortgen and Xander Schwartz also had falls for the Jets. There were seven JV matches with AC winning five of them. Adams Central 41 New Haven 33
AC won 8 of the 14 match-ups to defeat New Haven by a 41-33 score. Max Nussbaum, Ethan Funk, Owen Macklin, Brason Schortgen and Xander Schwartz all recorded pins for the BAGUBAs. The JV also won four of five matches. The results of the varsity and JV matches can be found here.
ACAC Duals
The Jets swept the ACAC Duals for the third year in a row by defeating Heritage (62-25), Southern Wells (65-16), South Adams (43-22), Woodlan (82-0), Jay County (53-19) and Blufton (49-25). Maverick Dubach, Kale Beer, Dylan Ogg and Brason Schortgen went undefeated for the day. The results of the individual duals can be found on this page.
Adams Central 65 Norwell 12
The BAGUBAs opened the 25-26 season with a dominating win over the Norwell Knights. AC won 12 of the 14 individual matches with eight of the wins by pin. Ryan Beer, Owen Macklin, Jaden Feasel, Kale Beer, Myles Kaehr, Maverick Dubach, Brason Schortgen and Xander Schwartz had those falls. There were no JV matches. 2025-26 Schedule and Roster Released

schedule for 2025-2026 is now available using this link.
The Jets will start the season with 27 BAGUBAs. Ten Freshmen joined five Seniors, six Juniors and six Sophomores on the roster. Two of the Juniors are also new to the team. The roster can be seen on this page.
2024-25 Schedule/Roster Reset
The
schedule and roster pages have been reset to prepare for 2024-2025. They will be updated after practice begins and this year's roster and schedule are known.
